Poor Cow...I mean Bull..Steer?

Here is a view out our backyard. There are a family of male bovines that attract our attention from time to time. They are black and quite interesting. They chase each other and are very inquisitive of the eagles (in background of picture). However, this morning they were out meandering about, when I noticed one just lying down. I assumed he was a little tired and decide to take a nap. Five hours later, way past naptime, he was still down. I thought maybe he just had a rough night, but began to think that maybe it was something else. By then, his field mates were occassionally coming to his side to see if he was okay. As darkness set in, I noticed that his owners hadn't figured out that he was still out in the field. Now I cannot see anything outside and only hope that it turns out that he was alright afterall.
