We went on a long road trip yesterday to Port Angeles to see the Olympic Mountains up close. It was a beautiful drive until we got up there and a weather system moved and it began to rain and snow. Yuck! Not to mention, Brrrrr!

We thought that we would make great time going back by taking the ferry across. As we were getting our fare, they announced that they were cancelling that particular ferry ride and rescheduling it for 3 hours later. Well...might as well drive home. So it was a late night.

Sometimes they cancel that ferry due to tides. The tidal pull can really be bad during certain times of the day and year. The pics are beautiful!!
